SEWING CLASS DATES 2026:

Hand Sewing for children 5-11 yrs.

Tuesdays 4.30-5.30pm Thurston Library 5-11 yrs

A fun and relaxed course of five weeks costs £38 per child.

February to March 2026 dates: 24 Feb, 3, 10, 17 24 March.

April to May 2026 dates: 14, 21, 28 April, 5, 12 May.

June to July 2026 dates: 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 June, 7, 14 July

Felt Fantastic® Sewing classes are for complete beginners or for those with some experience.

For the youngest children we start with round end needles and ready made holes, and progress from there.

There's lots of opportunity to design and make their own items. Dream, share and plan your ideas!

Learn hand sewing stitches and be creative with embellishments, buttons and a variety of treasures.

Children will make little things as sessions progress and they become confident and creative sewers.

Materials provided. Max 6 in a class. Suitable for children 5-11yrs.

Felt Fantastic® Sewing classes can be contracted by Schools to provide small group sewing sessions within the school day, this provides a calm and creative space for children and helps to nurture their wellbeing.
